About Me
At the heart of everything, Kara Gold-Harris is a mama—her greatest joy and inspiration. Deeply rooted in her hometown of Tampa Bay, she has spent more than a decade sharing her love of storytelling with the community she loves. With a Theatre Arts degree from Flagler College, Kara has brought countless stories to life since 2011 as a professional director and performer, and has worn many hats in theatre production—from admin to stage management to design. Throughout her career, she has also worked with children as a teaching artist, helping young imaginations shine through creative expression.
Alongside her theatre work, Kara discovered a love of photography. Her portfolio includes everything from weddings and community events to headshots and family portraits.
A true creative spirit, Kara also delights in singing and strumming her banjolele, leading joyful music sessions for little ones and their families; along with experimenting in the kitchen and crafting homemade creations of all kinds. She finds joy in exploring new passions – whether that’s behind a camera, on stage, or in the classroom.
In Fall 2025, Kara added another layer to her creative journey as she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, blending mindfulness and movement into the heart of her work and life.
Read on to explore Kara’s work across theatre, photography, yoga, and music.
